A gloved pair of fingers pulled the pipe from Baba's mouth, and the smoke slowly passed through his parted lips. As the warm air caressed his skin, he leaned against the edge of the Dreadwing airship that passed through Diroun Commonwealth skies. His single eye gazed over that edge and down to the roads below, where he would track a caravan that was delivering high value resources to a site where Diroun's alchemists were working on some sort of engineering "breakthrough," according to the Captain.

"Alright, Mad Dogs," Baba would say as he turned to address his crew, who'd assembled behind him. "A skeleton crew will be deploying with me, while the rest of you remain on the ship and circle to keep watch for reinforcements, and remain on standby for extraction. If shit goes sideways, and I fire the black flare, you leave. No matter what. Got it?"

Baba eyed his crew, and they looked nervous as he mentioned the black flare. Still, most of them would nod. From there, he'd pick out four individuals, each equipped with a set of magitech wings and a unique skill set that would make robbing the caravan a piece of cake.

Each of the five would all step up to the edge of the ship as it passed overhead, and on Baba's signal, they'd all lean off. That feeling of freedom as their bodies entered a descent toward the ground... it was incredible. And the moment those wings spread, lifting their bodies to prevent them from crashing, they immediately felt as though they were in control.

"Two to a flank -- I'll stop them up front!"

The men nodded as Baba nosedived to the front of the caravan and slammed his feet into the front, crashing down between the two drivers.

"Apologies for the intrusion, good men, but I'll be leaving with your items today."
