As Shouichi Kanoe™ got up after the assault from the ravens, once again, he would find the tune of the bard assisting his movements. He was able to beat through the crows, until finally, he was at the steps of the bank once more. Once again, he could see, inside, the man conjuring the crows was still screaming. His cries were hoarse, at this point. It sounded like he'd screamed so much his throat bled.
And as his pain intensified, so too did the strength of the crows.
From beneath his feet, Shouichi would feel himself being lifted into the air by a murder summoned underneath him. This murder would carry him skyward, before slamming him down into the ground with enough force that an average person would be knocked out, or perhaps even killed, from the impact.
Initially, chris would not find another viable entrance. Once Vivi Eris joined the search, however, they would see there was a side door with a much smaller mass of crows pouring out of it. It appeared to be a service entrance into the bank!
Unfortunately for Quack, the kick would not do as much damage as hoped! However, with the empowerment from DJMAXX and the aid of Vanya and Bill, they'd be able to pop the fountain up as intended without any pain after a time! The water would shoot up like a blooming flower, with Quack and her crew able to stand on top of it like a solid floor!
The crows, this whole time, started getting more organized. It wasn't clear as to why, but the masses of them continued to strike out more wildly and more frequently, while entire murders congregated and combined into single, larger crows that rampaged through surrounding buildings like they were made of foam!

"PATREON, KOFI, JUSTFANS WHATEVER YOU HAVE I'M SUBSCRIBING!"
I shouted to the Bard, flames shooting from my suit as I felt energized enough to propel myself forward. I fought my way through the crows once more reaching the bank. I know I usually complain about not being able to fly, but honestly I was getting so good at this hero thing I didn't even need to fly today. I threw my hand out to the crying man inside of the bank.
"I'M HERE TO SAVE YOU! TAKE MY HA-"
Before I could finish, the ground below my feet seemed to give way. As I was launched into the air, a murder of crows flocked around me, carrying me up higher. Reaching the zenith of their drive, there were so many of them around me they almost looked like they formed a giant crow around me. I tried to struggle fruitlessly, but there were so many of them around me, I couldn't even tell where my arms were. Before I could make much more sense of what was happening, I was slammed into the ground. My head and ears ringing in the crater the birds left me in. I blinked a few times, trying to lift my head up. But it was in vain, it was even growing darker around me.

In truth, he frustrates me. Endlessly optimistic, earnest to a fault, and ever the try hard. I wanted to be like him, and that's why he frustrated me. He made it look so effortless. But I knew I could never be like him. I just didn't have it in me. So instead, I opted to support him as best I could. While he protected everyone else, I'd protect him, from the shadows.
Black tendrils erupted from the smoke cloud around Shouichi. As the smoke cleared, some of them could be seen laying over Shouichi, creating a black shadowy ball. Other tendrils stood at attention, smacking away crows that encroached the shadowy ball. For it's part, the shadow ball formed spikes from it's membrane that extended out to skewer any crows the tendrils missed, before retracting back into the ball. Within the shadowy ball, even more tendrils got to work. Some of the shadowy tendrils set about properly setting some broken bones and dislocated joints. They then began wrapping around Shouichi, reinforcing the areas with broken bones or compromised armor.

Taking a second to find her footing on water V would look around from her new vantage point in amazement "Well aren't you full of surprises little duck" and while giving Quack a little spin, V would set her sites on the man on his own being overwhelmed by crows ,DJMAXX, taking a deep breath before unleashing another blast from her bass hopefully this could be of some use to this bountifully boosting bard.

Quack whooped after the fountain finally gave way. After finally on the water spout she cackled and bellowed!
"MUSIC MAN!"
Pointing at DJMAXX she got an idea! She sure hoped Bill was thirsty. Could Bill even get thirsty? He was made of water, but did that mean he needed more water? They really didn't know the science of Bill. None of that mattered right now anyway!
"BILLZILLA!"
Turning to Vanya Ducky grinned.
"Ain't nothing little about us darlin'!"
Bill made his way into the water that was spewing from the broken fountain. There he began to inflate like a large water balloon! Quack and Vanya should manage to stay relatively stable as Bill made a falt surface on his tummy. As they were getting more in line with the crows they began to use Torrential Talk again aiming for large murders and super crows. Super crows? Why are they growing? Looking down at Bill she gave him instruction while pointing at DJ.
"SLAPPA!"
In response Bill would shift some water around and attempt to bring a long watery arm down on DJMAXX.
"SWIM UP MUSIC MAN! WE NEED A SINGER!"
Kneeling down Quack would plunge her hand into Bill reaching a hand out for DJ to grab if he was able to swim up.
"MUSIC MAN!"

Chris sighed as he took a brief look around at the ensuing chaos, birds were becoming bigger birds and he would not stand for this. He nodded to Vivi Eris as he made his way towards the alternate entrance, hopefully not attracting the attention of the smaller flood of crows flying out. He'd look back a moment, waiting for Vivi if she came along but otherwise would enter by himself.

After some searching, the two happened upon a side door. Vivi didn't know exactly what to expect, but it had to be the source of all the trouble. That much was certain. Nodding back to Chris, she followed him into the door, weapons still drawn. She kept herself on a swivel in order not to be caught off guard from the back as they entered.

As the crows were dispersed by musical magic from other individuals, DJMAXX's eyes widened. They searched for the source, and as they witnessed both Vanya and Quack on display, they could not help smiling. Their immediate threats were destroyed, and that massive arm of water was extended down to them... and to deny it would be an insult to life, and art itself.
DJMAXX would close their eyes and smile, before turning and falling back into that arm. They allowed themselves to be carried up through the water, fingers strumming and picking at their instrument all the while. Finally, they would burst out from the water, and as they did, their magical music would transform the lute into a guitar, and create amplifiers behind it. Through these, DJMAXX would amplify their song, even knowing the cost this would have on their body.
As the amplifiers formed, the distinct sound of feedback could be heard all throughout the Bright End. Then, the pick traveled from the base of the fret board, all the way up to the top -- before DJMAXX began to double pick and pinch harmonic in a display of heavy metal guitar technique.
"WE WILL NOT YIELD!
WE WILL NOT FALL!
'CUZ THROUGH ALL THE PAIN,
I STILL HEAR THE CALL-"
As the vocals and guitar work were projected through the amplifiers, DJMAXX looked to use his newfound allies to create a hurricane of music and water that would pull all of these crows together, and stop the havoc they were wreaking upon the buildings.

As the light faded in their mind, Shouichi Kanoe™ could see the flicker of a dying flame, as if attempting to reignite itself.
"... up..."
A voice. Faint, so much so that he might even doubt it was there at first.
"Shou... wake..."
Louder. Closer.
"Shouichi! Wake up!"
Through the sea of black, a hand was extended as he heard a familiar voice reach out to him. This was not his time to go down... he still had people to save.
For chris and Vivi Eris, they would find the crows from the service entrance would be easy enough to deal with one by one. They did not have the numbers, nor the force, to overwhelm the pair as they approached. And as they did, they would see the man causing all of this, yet screaming to the point his throat sounded as if it were bleeding. He'd doubled over at this point, the crows flying out of his body far more than it seemed he could handle, as they ripped through his suit, and even his skin at this point. He was mostly defenseless, it appeared... but it might not be that easy.
Outside of the bank, the concert raged on. While Quack and Vanya handled the creation of the stage and fighting back the hordes, the addition of DJMAXX to their band would empower them to a degree that they might not have thought possible.
With the combination of powerful music and water magics, familiars shaped like musical notes and made of water would appear like warding runes to protect the band. Bill would increase in size, empowered by the music, and a hurricane of water and rock 'n' roll would draw in as many of the crows as it could. All the while, heavy metal could be heard.
This would not be without its costs, however. Though they were greatly successful so far, DJMAXX would feel their fingers begin to bleed and their life force fade, while Quack and Vanya were quickly feeling fatigued.
Could they keep this defense up long enough for Chris and Vivi to save the day?!

The black shadowy sphere began shrinking in size, while it's tendrils began pulling the sphere up through the top of the building. The black sphere's tendrils extended out to another near by building, the sphere settling between the two. Additionally smaller tendrils pulled from the shadowy sphere, now just barely larger than a person.

The words appeared through my helmet visor, piercing through the darkness around me as I woke up. I could visibly see the shadows closing in on me, but I wasn't scared. Just like last time, you're helping me out cause I'm useless on my own right? Then I couldn't waste your efforts. The shadows became one with my suit. My normally silver and red suit had now taken on a black and red colorway. The bluish green gem in the center quickly took on a reddish-orange hue as energy of the same color enveloped my suit. Shadow tendrils still pulling me back as I regained my field of view along the battlefield.

Then suddenly, the tendrils gave way, launching me and my new armor forward. Through the helmet's restored audio, I could hear the Doc and his assistant confused about how the suit's sensors were back online. But I didn't pay them much mind, I had something to do. The tendrils had already pointed me in the direction of the bank when they launched me, but that wasn't enough. After being launched out twice, I had learned my lesson.
"Burning..."
Flames erupted from the exhausts along my suit, adding to the propulsion the tendrils had launched me with earlier. Bringing my forearms into an x in front of my head, I began gathering my flames to my arms, the way I would when I was going to release a large blast. However, this time I did not release a large blast. Instead I gathered them there, holding them as I turned myself into a shooting star blasting through anything that tried to stop me. Hopefully this time, I'd make it through.

If I was able to make it through the doors, I'd disperse my flames. Rolling forward as I entered, I'd throw a hand out in the direction of the man that the crows were dispersing from.
"TAKE MY HAND!" Even if the crows were to blast at me, I'd dig my feet in refusing to be pushed back. If needed, I'd use my flames to create back pressure to propel me back to my feet. "YOU MADE A MISTAKE, FINE! PEOPLE GOT HURT, FINE! WE CAN MAKE UP FOR THAT, WE CAN HELP THEM!" If I could take a step forward I would, pulling my new black visor from my face and throwing it aside, trying to take a moment to wipe some of the tears from my face. "BUT YOU WERE CRYING TOO! YOU WERE IN PAIN TOO! TAKE MY HAND AND LET'S END THIS!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, my voice cracking for everyone around to hear. Despite the my own tears, the crows, or anything else that came at me, I would do my best to approach the man, offering my hand.
Shadow Whip: [Tier 0] Tendrils erupt from Shouichi's shadow, allowing him to grab onto things and minorly manipulate objects. Tendrils have 75% ability power when manipulating external objects, ie weapons, people, items. Tendrils have Shouichi's 100% ability power if they are only moving him, ie using the tendrils as makeshift grappling hooks to swing himself(no passengers), help him climb up a wall, or even tendril pushups.
Burning Attack (Ranged) Tier 1 : Shouichi is able to channel radiant energy through the suit launching a ranged radiant attack. 100% Ability Power
ExSEED (Boon) Tier 1: Shouichi releases the safety limiters on the suit, allowing it to perform at super mortal levels. Negative stat abilities are avoided for as long as the ability is continuously in use. If ability is stopped, and reused, negative stats are stacked upon deactivation of second use. +10 STR, +10 DEX while in use. -5 Str, Dex, Con, Wis upon post after each successive continuous use of ability.

Quack's dance changed with the music. They were feelin' it! The urge fell upon them like the a downpour and a water drum set rose from Bill's belly. Whispering to Bill she took her position.
"I know you're tired bud. Just a bit longer, we're gonna be the best."
Letting the music take hold they began drumming letting the beat reverberate throughout Bill. Their limbs were weary and they could see the drain on their allies. What were these birds? Was the rest of the town okay? Was anyone going to offer them kebabs after this was all said and done? Her hair whipped everywhere and her head banged. Using her fishly instincts and skills she made a low guttural growl similar to a huge piraiba catfish. Using her torrential talk to change the sound slightly to add more meat to the song.

V's vison blurred and movements became sluggish as she felt her energy draining it took all of her focus to continue playing as she made her way down the familiar. She leaned slightly against the little duck at this point the only thing V could hear was the sound of the music around them anything else would be lost to the chaos, if she was sure of anything it was after all of this was over and done she would be going back to that store and taking any bottle of wine she want it, then taking a long nap.

Vivi’s weapons vaporized in her hands as she took careful steps toward the apparent culprit. This was nothing like she’d envisioned, but admittedly, she’d been at a loss as for what to expect since this fever dream started. If this were a dumb action movie the move would probably be to shoot this guy in the head ASAP, and she wouldn’t stop the man with her from doing so if that was what he deemed necessary, but this guy…. he looked like he needed help.
Vivi approached the man from the front so as not to surprise him from a safe distance, hands held in front of her in a non-threatening manner.
“Hey!” she called over the screams, “What’s going on? I can help you if you’ll let me!”
Was it a dumb pacifist move? Maybe. But even this mob boss had moral standards. Executing him like this felt wrong.
Vivi approached the man from the front so as not to surprise him from a safe distance, hands held in front of her in a non-threatening manner.
