Quack was looking a little more, green, than usual as they walked on the airship. They stumbled and hung to the side. What were they doing there again? Oh right! Pirate! They had to make pirate connections! If they were going to be the best pirate ever they needed to know all the best pirates. Pulling herself by her bootstraps she went to take a step. The floor actually tasted alright. Like someone had recently cleaned.
People were starting to stare as Duck tried to crawl around. Her stomach was doing flip flops and her mouth was gathering saliva. Weakly she called out her trusty pal.
"Bill.."
Bill popped in and laid across Ducky's head. The coolness of Bill gave Quack enough energy to stand again. However she kinda looked like a baby deer.
"LEAD ME TO THE SCURVY SQUAD!"
The statement was bold loud and confident. However right after Quack had to cover her mouth and use all her bodily control not to spew. Why was the air being her enemy she hadn't fought the air, yet.

The air was alive with a subtle hum, as the air ships gracefully landed and departed, V had been walking up and down the skydock since day break looking for a ship to liberate when she heard the sound of a familiar voice. Feeling the need to check the situation Vanya would stroll up the gangplank like she owned the place with a whistle, she felt the need to seem like she was in control of the situation or like she belonged here "Nice ship, decently sized looks like it could be crewed by a smaller number." She said aloud slinging an arm around Quack's shoulder. "So what brought a sweet thing like you up here little duck?"

Quack's eyes dragged up to whom flung their arm around her.
"Hot music lady!"
The merfolk weakly called out in surprise and excitement while leaning into Vanya. Hot music lady was steady and firm in this world of wobbly airship terror. However as someone declared they were the pirate queen the bluenette straightened up and about-faced.
"PIRATE QUEEN I AM QUA-"
Before finishing she lunged to grab Nanami and stop her from falling. However instead of gallantly saving the Queen the best Quack could do was stop themself from throwing up all over the Queen and the floor they had landed on. Well maybe she could provide a cushion for the Queen if she did fall. In a pitiful and sickly voice Quack whinged out.
"But I'm supposed to be the best pirate anyone has ever seen in sea or sky..."

Vanya reached out hand to support the self-declared "Pirate Queen" so she wouldn't fall and the other for quack seeing as the two didn't seem used to standing on a ship this high up yet but for her this was her element as she had helped her father many times for repair jobs. "As far as I can tell neither of you have even been on airship so while you both are cute I'm afraid you are both also wrong, I'm afraid its going to be my crew who rules over these skies." she said with a chuckle as she spread out her wings to their full span and gesturing to the busy docks as the air was alive with the chatter of crews preparing for their journeys, their excitement contagious with fantastical vessels that stood proudly, their sails billowing with the promise of distant lands and treasures.

Quack would narrow their eyes in confusion? Only sky? Only sea? Why so they have such small dreams? Also ruling? What is this? A government? Isn't that against pirate rules?

A little loopy from their air sickness Ducky would gradually become louder until they were yelling their own name. Then slow blinking like a frog she looked at the ladies. She would reach out and try to touch the ladies' faces.
"Is it a pirate rule to be attractive? Are all pirates attractive?"
Duck's face was serious as they contemplated their own question. Was scurvy a code word for sexy?

Vanya would let out a chuckle Quack's hand made contact with her and then taking a look around the ship its self the group had seem to gain the attention of the crew and on lookers "I also seemed to fail to ask who does this ship belong to anyways" Her eyes scanning for any sign of leadership.

Quack shook her head which only made her gag a little bit as her head was already spinning.
"To best the best is to be the best. If you rule that just means you're in charge. I can be in charge of a kitchen and still not know how to cook."
Thinking they just said something profound Ducky nodded. However the little duck failed to noticed their speech was a tad slurred and they were not beginning to hiccup. They didn't feel well. Duck slumped over completely giving up on holding themselves up. What ship had she gone on? Bill popped off the merfolk's head and plopped on Duck's face. The coolness was appreciated even if it did nothing to jog her memory.
