Anora was seated next to Bianca, reviewing the text with disengaged scrutiny. She blinked once, then twice, at the tome before her, as the woman beside her voiced her thoughts out loud.

"Maybe they fell in love?" Anora contributed. "Dumbledalf and Sauroff. Maybe they fell in love and got married and gave up their life of wizardry? I'm fairly certain it's happened before. It could have been love at first sight!" How romantic. Two old wizards meeting and realizing they're perfect for each other... it was certainly an idealistic outcome.

"I'm sorry..." Rowan interjected, sitting forward and tilting his head to the side. A concerned look appeared on his face as his elbows fell to the table and his fingertips tapped against each other.

"... cooler?"

He looked at Bianca, brow furrowed.

"As in... cooler than Dumbledalf the Off-White? Am I hearing this correctly?"

Rowan held his hand forward, pointed at Bianca with all four of his pointer fingers. He had a stern expression upon his face, as if a fanboy who was critically, and personally, wounded by the statement.

"This is the same Dumbledalf who assembled the beavers in the Free Territories to prevent the encroaching forces from Pressos and Luvia. The very same Dumbledalf who brought Alchemy from the Diroun Commonwealth in the late Third Era. Arguably, the very reason we even have magitech as a viable concept."

Rowan would wait just a moment for this to sink in to the two at the table.

"What -- and I mean this seriously -- what could be cooler than that?!"

Bianca blinked at Anora's suggestion, pondering if such an outcome was plausible. "Fell in love? Like gay wizards?" She asked out loud, fingers to her chin. The thought of old wizard dick grossed her out, but if these guys rocked the most powerful magics, she wouldn't be surprised if they could do some wild things with their flesh wands.

Still, would anything in the text corroborate this?

It was then that someone else spoke up, and Bianca would look over at Rowan in sheer shock. The zeal with which he spoke made it sound as though he were the reincarnation of Dumbledalf himself! The confidence in which he spoke his defense showed that this was a man who likely studied these texts thoroughly!

"Excuse me, did you say beavers?" She asked after a moment. "No, no! It doesn't matter how cool he was if he's some old fogey! Gimme some cool ladies! Maybe a wizard vampire!" She started frantically shuffling through the texts.

"Okay but if he's so cool, then why did he suddenly vanish? I'm not seeing anything in these texts about gettin' any bitches."

Anora was completely unfazed by Rowan's interjection, giving a smile as he ranted, clearly passionate about the subject at hand. Bianca was quite caught up on the concept of hot ladies, so Anora felt compelled to add: "He was a hot lady, kinda. He had those fabled big naturals that all the poets and bards wrote about! What's more cool than an old gay wizard with big naturals?" She nodded assuredly, putting herself on common ground with the other two.

After a brief moment, a thought occurred to her. "Did anyone check to see if the answers are in the back of the textbook?"

"Yeah, his big naturals were a point of heated discussion for the last few centuries. Refusing to acknowledge that, I have to wonder if you're actually a fan of Dumbledalf, or not," Rowan shook his head, scoffing.

"Answers in the back of the textbook are there to validate debate, not to void it entirely!"

The man protested the idea of looking straight at the back, then sighed heavily.

"What if the reason for his career ending after meeting Sauroff is due to his magics being lost, or stolen? I don't think that's so unreasonable, especially when you consider the theories that his magics came entirely from the use of artifacts rather than latent power."

Bianca furrowed her brow, lost in thought. Big naturals? Did she hear that right? They weren't referring to massive testicles, were they? He had to have some if he was some famous wizard who was unstoppable. But Anora called him a hot lady, which meant it was big naturals of the upper body variety. But that meant he was a bearded old man! With giant boobs! The mental image was enough to make her wish she never took this class.

"Okay, but if he's some bigshot, big-tit wizard, how would his magic be lost or stolen to begin with? I can't imagine anyone with the big naturals to pull off a magic heist on a guy with a reputation as hefty as this." She put her hand to her chin, as if to think more critically. "If it was some kinda artifact-based power, then why is no one today some kind of magic meister like he was? You'd think someone would use that power to do whatever they want! I know I would!"
