Pont-Ciel
The campus of the esteemed Conservatory, seeped in the studies of magic and science, is where students of all ages can pursue the studies of their chosen fields. The halls and courtyards are filled with friends and colleagues congregating, from ecstatic laughter to hushed whispers.

Known for its bright city lights and liberal use of magic, this is where the most luxurious and powerful find their places. From government buildings to luxurious penthouses and expensive boutiques, the rich and famous mix and mingle amongst the never-darkening light.

A quiet, warm area of town, where many Pont-Ciel citizens call home. It’s populated by rows and rows of apartment buildings and modest homes, small shops and local businesses, and local bars and taverns.

With a constant stream of imported goods from throughout Sestyra, comes a bright and colorful market district where residents can find all manners of goods, from magical items and trinkets to foodstuffs and household supplies. Anything can be bought and sold here, within reason.
CHANCE: ■■■
Once the old heart of Pont-Ciel, this district has fallen to decay and ruin, where crime runs rampant and black market trade is prevalent. The Knights and the Council don’t concern themselves with the lower-class people who live here, leaving crime bosses and gangs to govern them.

Named after the loud sound of clanking metal, plumes of smoke rise as industry spreads through Pont-Ciel. This is where many factories, workshops, and vast warehouses filled with valuables might be found. If you need something made, Racket is the place.
CHANCE: ■■■■
At the Northern and Western gates of Pont-Ciel are two airship docks, where elevated platforms extend into the sky. From commercial goods to wayward travelers, the docks welcome a constant stream of airships coming and going, welcoming all to our great city. From the top of the docks, travelers can descend into the city via a lift, or walk the many bridges to higher levels.
CHANCE: ■■■■
The Catacombs beneath the city reach far and wide in every direction, with entrances in each district. It is massive and winding, dug deep into the earth like its own metropolis of death and decay. Much of it has been untouched for centuries, though prominent figures are still entombed there. It is not uncommon for people to pay respects to their ancestors here, but people generally stay away.
CHANCE: ■■
A fleet of nomadic people aboard great airships, moving from place to place with the wind's current. They are neutral and pacifist by nature, but welcome people from all walks of life, including pirates and bandits. The fleet may drift above the skies of various nations, and this board will move around accordingly.

Beyond the City
The ages-old Kingdom of Luvia is the center of magic in Sestyra, boasting an impressive population of accomplished mages among its citizens. With rolling hills of wildflowers and vast forests in bloom, its rich and vibrant flora and fauna serve as a reflection of the magic nestled deep within.
A nation characterized by its many rivers and miles of ocean shore. The weather here is temperate and warm, making this a place of endless summer sun. The people here are easygoing, with a large population of sailors and artisans seeking work near clear blue waters.
A religious state nestled in rocky mountains and valleys. The weather is often dark and gloomy with harsh winters, making it perfect for the Shades who have made it their home. Despite lingering tensions between Avarell and the other nations, the people here are generally earnest and hard working.
A nation set on sweeping dunes in a vast, sandy desert. It is warm, dry, and dusty-- much of the nation is cast into uninhabited vacancy, with few notable cities centered at oases where civilization has learned to thrive.
A vast, unclaimed wasteland of untamed forests and tundras. Life here is hard-- the wilderness shows no mercy. Its population is made up of sparse settlements, chiefdoms, and nomadic tribes, though bandit groups will flee here from neighboring nations. Second Era ruins dot the landscape.

Anywhere beyond Sestyra-- from the sky above to the waters below, and even farther still to nations unseen-- anything beyond the continent's borders may be found here.
